Japanese GT300 Champion Tetsuya Yamano Reviews The Subaru BRZ

You might not be able to get your hands on a Subaru BRZ/FT-86/GT-86/Scion FR-S yet, so you’ll have to take the word of Tetsuya Yamano as he reviews it. Of course, he happens to be a Japanese Grand Touring Championship GT300 class care car driver who runs his own driving school. He has also won he touring car championship from 2004 to 2006. So you could say we trust him. His review as a GT300 driver is even more relevant considering this car will replace the current Subaru Legacy that Subaru runs in the JGTC GT300 class by next year.

Provided by YouTube commenter projectCIEL – “he’s not really saying anything too exciting, just usual praises you’d give to a car, but to sum up important points: engine feels direct, the intake sound is exciting, cruising 100kph is quiet, car feels very stable at 160kph, very confidence-inducing for drivers to go fast, responds scarily well to driver’s request, because of low CoG driver feels the road, altogether it makes the driver feel they can go fast and that he thinks this car is one of the best handling cars in the world”
