British luxury brand Rolls Royce is set to enter the South American market for the first time, all as part of it’s growing plan to capture an even greater piece of the emerging market share around the world. The company’s current CEO Torsten Uller-Otvos was in Sao Paolo to talk about new dealers in Brazil and Chile, and also to meet with new local customers;
“I am delighted to announce our plans for entry into the South American market. Brazil and Chile have seen impressive economic growth, with an increasing demand from discerning customers for pinnacle luxury products. Rolls-Royce is growing very successfully in a number of fast-growing emerging markets and it is therefore appropriate that we have a strong presence in Brazil and Chile,” said Torsten Muller-Otvos, speaking in Sao Paulo.
For Brazil, Via Italia Group will be the Rolls Royce dealer and distributor in Brazil, while in Chile, Williamson Balfour Motors, part of the Inchcape Group and lead by Peter Aberle, will be Rolls-Royce Motor Cars’ future dealer. Customers should expect the new dealerships to open in March 2012.
